New Delhi: The national capital, Delhi, has once again come to shame, where a case of raping a woman in a moving car has come to light. The woman has lodged a complaint against two persons in the case. The woman said in her complaint that the accused had raped her in a moving car. Police have arrested the two accused on the woman's complaint. The incident is said to be on August 16.

According to reports, the accused and the woman had earlier had a social media conversation. Then there was talk of meeting and when the woman reached to meet the accused, the duo put her in the car and then raped her in a moving car in Delhi's Shastri Park area. The accused took off the woman in Shastri Park and fled. According to police, the woman was in Ghaziabad and both the accused reached Ghaziabad by car. From there the two got her into the car. Because there was friendship on social media. The conversation was taking place, so the woman got into the car after a little hesitation. It is alleged that the man sitting in the back assaulted the woman and raped her in the back seat itself. The man who was driving the car then took it to the Shastri Park area and stopped the car and then raped the woman. The two later left the woman there and fled.

Police registered an FIR on the woman's complaint and launched an investigation, so police noticed the car in the investigation of several CCTV footage in the vicinity. After which the police arrested the two accused. Police say further investigation is being conducted in the case. The woman had also said in her complaint that the accused had also threatened to kill her.
