Mumbai: The BJP has suffered a major setback in the country's state of Maharashtra. In the big leaders of the party, Eknath Khadse has left the Bharatiya Janata Party. There is speculation about the inclusion of Khadse in the NCP. It is reported that NCP will join at 2 pm on Friday afternoon.

He is counted as the big OBC leader of the state. He comes from Jalgaon and his daughter-in-law is a parliamentarian from the BJP. As per the information received, he had been angry with the Bhartiya Janata Party for a long time. Sources close to him say that there is no justification for staying in the party according to Khadse.

When talking to former CM Devendra Fadnavis of the state two days ago about the resentment of Eknath and speculation about leaving the party, he said that this kind of things is talked about every day. He said that he did not want to speak on it. He said this during a visit to the city of Usmanabad in the state where he went to assess the loss of crop of farmers due to rain.
