Nalanda: Reports of the Badu train accident in the Nalanda district of Bihar have come to light. 14 coaches of goods train have derailed and overturned. As soon as the train derailed, several railway officials rushed to the spot and all trains on this route were stopped. The buzz was that no casualty was reported in the incident. In fact, the incident took place at 12.30 pm on Tuesday near Nekpur village under Rajgir in Nalanda district.

The goods train was carrying coal from Tilaiya and was going to the BTSSÂ NTPC plant. In the meantime, the train got on board. Villagers said the goods train was dragging from about 500 meters away, there was a loud blast as it approached the village and several coaches overturned while climbing each other. Tell you that a large number of officers and staff rushed to the spot and started removing the overturned coaches of the train. The accident is said to have caused the loss of crores of rupees to the Railways. On the other hand, Chief Public Relations Officer of East Central Railway Rajesh Kumar said that the accident may have occurred due to any fault in the track.
The engine reportedly did not stop even after the coaches overturned and the track broke. The driver dragged the train for about 500 meters. During the accident, the coaches were blown away and several coaches got off the track and reached the field. The villagers shouted at the loud sound of the coaches overturning then the driver came to know about the accident.
