Bhagalpur: Criminal incidents in Bihar have not been controlled so far. One such incident has come to light in Morkahi police station area of Khagaria district where criminals have shot dead a sleeping farmer in his house. Dinesh Prasad Mandal was sleeping in his house in Balour village under Morkahi police station of Khagaria. Meanwhile, some crooks entered his house and shot him.

After the murder, the criminals fled from there taking advantage of the fog. After receiving information about the incident, Morkahi Police Station reached the spot and sent the body to Khagaria Gadar Sadar Hospital for postmortem. Weeds have spread in the village since the incident. Although the cause of the incident is not yet clear, the family has informed the police that Dinesh Prasad Mandal's daughter was molested by a boy from the village. Two months ago, by putting a panchayat in the village, the accused youth was called for a decision in the panchayat.

In that panchayat, he was fined, which made the accused young man angry. The family suspects that the same accused youth has executed this murder. However, the police has said that after registering an FIR, the police will tell something and the matter will be investigated in further depth.
