Bike riding miscreants absconding after snatching Rs 1.15 crore from collection agent, police engaged in search

New Delhi: The miscreants on a bike robbed Rs 1.15 crore from a collection agent near Chandgi Ram Akhara on the Outer Ring Road of the country's capital Delhi. The incident happened around 6 pm on Wednesday. The Civil Lines Police has started searching for the miscreants by registering an FIR in this case.

According to the information, grain trader Vinod Agarwal has an office in Khyala area. He sent employees Naresh Aggarwal and Karan to Kucha Mahajani area for collection. Both the employees had left for the office with Rs 1.15 crore. While passing through the Outer Ring Road, he had already progressed from the redlight of Chandgiram Akhara, that two youths riding bikes came from behind and stopped them. After this, threatening to kill him, snatching the bag full of money and fled towards Khyber Pass via Majnu Ka Tila.

In the investigation so far, it has been found that both the miscreants were chasing Kucha Mahajani, but were not getting the chance. Let us inform that in the year 2019, a young man riding a car near the Red Fort robbed one crore rupees from a collection agent by becoming a police officer. The hands of the police are still empty in this matter.
