Blast in Peshawar killed 5 and 70 kids injured

A blast inside a seminary in the capital city Peshawar of Pakistan's northwest region has killed 5 lives and 70 kids were injured. The exact location of the incident was reported near a Madrasa at the Dir Colony of Peshawar. The victims includes Children and Maulavis (instructors) as the blast took place when the classes were underway at the religious school.

The victims were shifted to Lady Reading Hospital and another medical facility. The hospital authorities have claimed the condition of several injured were critical. The police and the rescue teams have reached the crime scene and involved in the rescue operation.

A month ago, five people were killed and two others injured in a blast in the Akbarpura area of Nowshera, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The police official Waqar Azim said the bombing happened while a cleric was delivering a lecture about the teachings of Islam at the main hall of the Jamia Zubairia madrassa. He further said that initial investigations suggest the bomb went off minutes after someone left a bag at the madrassa.
