Srinagar: The path of Baba's darshan will now be even easier for Amarnath pilgrims. The work of constructing a road from Baltal to the holy cave is going on on a war footing. The big thing is that the construction work of this road is being done by the Border Roads Organization (BRO). Since this major change, the work of building the road is in full swing.

Officials concerned have informed that efforts are being made to complete most of the work here before the snowfall this time. However, it will take about a year to complete the project. At present, it usually takes 7 to 8 hours to reach Baba's cave from Baltal. If the crowd is high, it takes about 5 hours more. In such a situation, it takes up to 12 hours for the devotees to see Baba. Now after the completion of the construction of this road, devotees will be able to see Baba within just 4 to 5 hours.

Let me tell you that before this the work was going on at a very slow pace. Due to this, it would have taken a long time to complete the work of this road. In view of this delay, the Jammu and Kashmir administration handed over the construction of this road to the BRO. Now BRO has taken over the responsibility of building, maintaining and managing this road. BRO started working on it from September 29. This is a project taken as a challenge, which BRO has decided to complete as soon as possible.
