Unnao: The tragic road accident occurred on the Agra Lucknow Expressway in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday morning. A speeding bus and a tractor collided on the expressway. The trolley overturned when the tractor collided. 25 people were reportedly sitting in the trolley. Two people have lost their lives in the incident while 22 others have been seriously injured. All the injured have been admitted to CHC Bangaramu for treatment.
Significantly, this is the second major accident on the Agra Lucknow Expressway in just 10 days. On the 28th of last month, seven people were killed in a tragic accident on the expressway. The accident took place near Milestone 27 of the Expressway in Thana Fatehabad area of Agra. The ill-fated bus was on its way from Bihar to Jaipur.
The bus coming at high speed collided with a sand-filled truck. The speed of the bus was so high that the testes of the bus flew away and there was a hue and cry. Five passengers died on the spot. The dead included a seven-year-old girl.
