Chandigarh: Punjab Police recovers an explosive-filled tiffin box hidden in an agricultural area near Indo-Pak border in Ferozepur district. After this, a possible terror attack on the eve of Diwali has been averted. On the other hand, Captain Amarinder Singh has tweeted about it. He tweeted a target on the Punjab government. In a tweet, he said, "Hopefully HM Punjab will come out of denial mode in particular and take this threat seriously. With several consignments being sent regularly from across the border, a strong action plan should be formulated to deal with additional vigilance and challenge."

Let me tell all of you that the seizure was made in Ali's village on Wednesday after questioning three persons arrested earlier this week in the Jalalabad blast case. Director General of Police (DGP) Iqbal Preet Singh Sahota said that ludhiana rural police had arrested two persons last Monday for allegedly providing shelter and logistics assistance to ranjit singh alias gora, an accused in the Jalalabad blast case, which is being investigated by the NIA.

According to an official statement, a tiffin bomb, two pen drives and 1.15 lakh rupees cash were recovered from the possession of the accused in the past. After investigation, it came to light that the accused had concealed a 'Tiffin bomb' in a field. In the case, the DGP said that the bomb was recovered during a search operation on Wednesday following the disclosure of the accused.
