Lucknow: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) investigation team will now interrogate the accused MLA Kuldeep Sengar and his brother Atul Sengar in connection with the road accident case. The CBI probe has been allowed by the Special Central Bureau of Investigation Court in Lucknow to interrogate the accused.

In fact, the CBI had filed a petition in the court seeking remand of the accused MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar, Atul Sengar, Virendra alias Bouwa, Vineet Mishra, Shailendra for questioning. Earlier, the case of road accident during the visit of the victim and her lawyer to Rae Bareli was heard in a CBI court in Lucknow on Saturday.

The hearing came on a CBI plea seeking remand of the accused truck driver and the driver. During the hearing, the court remanded the accused truck driver and the kleiner to three days CBI remand as demanded by the CBI. The order was passed by the SPECIAL Court No.4 of the CBI.  On Saturday (03august), a four-member CBI team has reached Makhi police station for questioning.
