Dehradun: The process of closing the cupboards of Badrinath Dham will begin today with Panch Pujas. The Ganesh temple in the temple complex will be closed today for six months in winter after the consecration of Lord Badri Vishal. Thereafter, on 20th November, the cupboards of Badrinath Dham will be closed for winter.

The cupboards of the first Ganesh temple will be closed on Tuesday. The Adi Kedareshwar temple will be worshipped on November 17 and the charge book on the 18th. On the same day, the reading and recitation of the Vedas will be stopped. Goddess Lakshmi will be worshipped and invoked on the 18th And the cupboards of Badrinath Dham will be closed for the winter at 6.45 pm on 20th November. With this, Chardham Yatra will also come to an end this year.

Uddhavji and Kuberji will be seated at the Yoga Dhyan Badri Pandukeshwar temple. On the 22nd, the throne of Adi Guru Shankaracharya will be seated at the Nrisinh Temple in Joshimath. Thereafter, the winter journey of Badrinath Bhagwan will begin at Pandukeshwar and Joshimath. 1395 pilgrims visited Lord Badrinath at Badrinath Dham on Monday. On the other hand, 1,79235 devotees have visited Lord Badri Vishal in Badrinath so far. Badrinath Dham is now experiencing severe cold wave conditions.
