Raipur: In the Mahasamund district of Chhattisgarh, four people were involved in several incidents of rape by the widow, intimidating a female employee. Three of the four accused are government employees. They also include a policeman. Police arrested three accused. According to the police, after the death of her husband, a woman working on a compassionate appointment in a department of the Collectorate was raped several times by four people.

In the complaint given by the woman to Siti Kotwali, it is alleged that for the first time in October 2019, a gang rape incident occurred. These included Jayanarayan Bhoi government employee, police personnel Shashank Sharma, teachers KP Patel and Rajjo Bharti. The complaint given to the police said that the two children of the woman had gone to Raipur's maternal uncle's house on the night of the crime. The accused also made a video of the rape. The accused showed the video of the woman threatening to make her viral, kill her and raped her several times. The woman's age is said to be around 45 years.
