New Delhi: Pakistan's best friend China is not deterring from its expansionist policy. Amidst the ongoing confrontation with India in eastern Ladakh, the Chinese army is preparing a camp in its area near the opposite Niti Pass in Uttarakhand. According to information received from military sources, the People's Liberation Army (PLA) army of China is constructing a road as well as a helipad in this area.

According to military sources, China is trying to connect the opposite middle sector of Uttarakhand with air connectivity. These antics of China prove that after the north and eastern region, it is now entering the quiet areas of the Line of Actual Control (LAC). This area is close to the LAC adjoining Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh, where China is engaged in increasing military infrastructure and connectivity. Helipads are being built at Sarang and Poling Jind near Niti Pass. Sources said that new camps of Chinese army have also been built near Niti Pass and Tunjun Pass.

The Niti Pass has been closed since the Sino-Indian War in 1962, whereas before the war it was a trade route between India and Tibet and was being used for a long time. Sources have told that China is also setting up a border village 45 km away from Tholing sector. An army camp has also been built a few meters away from the village.
