Beijing: China's aggression has once again begun to keep an eye on the land of its neighbours amid corona. This time China has sent one of its eight fighter jets to Taiwan. According to the Taiwan Defense Ministry, a total of eight Chinese fighter jets and spy planes breached the country's air defence detection zone (ADIZ) on Monday.

According to the Ministry of National Defense (MND), one Y-8 Shaanxi anti-submarine airplane, one Shaanxi Y-8 reconnaissance aircraft, two Sukhoi-30 fighter jets, two Shenyang J-16 fighter jets, and two Chengdu J-10 fighter jets entered Taiwan's airspace on Monday. It is the third-largest number of aircraft encroaching Taiwan's airspace since 16 September. In response, the Taiwan Air Force landed its fighter jets to intercept the People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) aircraft. He also broadcasted radio warnings to return these aircraft and tracked the movements of the aircraft with his air defense missile system.

Y-8 aircraft made inroads on separate occasions, while a pair of SU-30, J-16 and J-10 fighter jets flew simultaneously on various missions, leading to a plurality of PLAAF sorties in Taiwan's ADIZ on Monday Five Eye All intrusions occurred in the southwest corner of Taiwan's airspace, which is an area of the sea and close to Taiwan's Dongsha Islands.
