Class 10 Karnataka SSLC Exam begins today, CM extends greetings

The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Exams for Class 10 commenced on Monday in the state. The Class 10 SSLC test will be taken by around 8.73 lakh students.

To guarantee a smooth examination process, the state government has enacted prohibitory measures in and around testing centres around the state.

From 10 a.m. onwards, appearing students will be able to enter the exam venues. The exams will take place between the hours of 10.30 a.m. and 1.45 p.m. This period will include the 15 minutes that the students will be allotted to read the question paper, as per the Karnataka board's former norms.

Basavaraj Bommai, the Chief Minister, wished the students well before their examinations. "I wish all of the students who are taking examinations today the best of luck. Every student's life revolves on the SSLC exam. We have taken all applicable COVID-19 precautions and made all necessary arrangements for the benefit of students in order to make it as convenient as possible for them. All students must participate in class and pass exams in order to create their future; I wish all students the best of luck "Speaking to reporters, Bommai added.
