25 houses and shops become victims of conflict in Gujarat

Vadodara: Due to the story of increasing crime and incidents in our country every day, everyone is upset in today's time. In today's era, there is only one thing all around, whether it is safe to stay at home or not. On the other hand, 13 people were injured in a sudden riot between two communities in Khambhat taluka of Anand district of Gujarat on Sunday, 23 February 2020. The agitated crowd of both communities set at least 25 houses and shops and vehicles of each other on fire. This is the second incident of communal conflict between the two communities here in the last one month.

According to the information received, earlier on 24 January 2020 a riot broke out in both communities, in which one person was killed. According to Divya Mishra, Acting Superintendent of Police of Anand district, on Sunday, February 23, 2020, a verbal debate started between the two communities in the Akbarpura area on January 24, which turned into a fight and stone-pelting.

The police said that the real reason behind the riots is being investigated. Currently, the situation has been controlled and 46 people have been detained. Around 100 policemen have been deployed in the area.
