New Delhi: Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi is going to hold a massive tractor rally in Punjab today to protest against the agriculture law and in support of farmers. Thousands of farmers are expected to join the rally. It is reported that the rally will include about 5000 tractors. It is also being said that Rahul Gandhi may appear to be driving tractors himself. Congress ministers, MLAs and all veterans have been asked to be present at the rally.

The rally starting from Moga will end in Delhi via Haryana. The congressmen and the entire administrative staff of Punjab have been in the fray for the rally. In a strong security arrangement, 10,000 police personnel have been deployed across the state on behalf of the Punjab Government. DGP Dintax Gupta himself arrived in Moga to inspect the tractor rally. He was accompanied by all the major officers including SSP of 15 districts. A number of luminaries including CM's advisor Capt Sandeep Sandhu rushed to inspect the preparations for the rally.

On October 4, a public meeting will be held at 11 am at Badni Kalan in Moga's Nihal Singh Wala. This will be followed by a public meeting at Jatpura in Raikot via Jagraas, Chaka, Lakkha and Manuk in Ludhiana.
