Control room set up in Parliament to coordinate efforts of MPs/MLAs in fight against corona

PM Modi has implemented lockdown till 3 May. So that the corona can be controlled somehow. A special control room has been built in the Parliament House to organize the efforts of MPs and MLAs in fighting the Corona epidemic. The objective of this control room is to help in establishing quick contact between MPs, MLAs and general public to counter covid-19.

On this step, the Lok Sabha Secretariat issued a statement saying that the control room has been opened as per the consent of Speaker Om Birla with the presiding officers of the state legislatures in the video conference meeting held in the past. During this meeting, the role of MPs and MLAs was said to be important to provide relief to the general public during the epidemic. In this sequence, the need for a control room for real-time exchange of information between Parliament and State Legislatures was stated.
