Patna: The corona is once again spreading rapidly in Bihar amid the growing cases of 'omicron' variants in India. Bihar has reported 47 new corona cases in the last 24 hours. That is why the Nitish government has once again decided to increase the toughness. The state government has ordered the closure of all parks and zoos in the state from December 31 to January 2 in view of the celebrations and possible rush on the occasion of the New Year.

That's why people won't be able to go to a park for a picnic. The Bihar government has taken this decision in view of the increasing cases of corona in the state. However, it is a matter of relief that no case of omicron has been reported in Bihar. Nitish Kumar had recently said about night curfew in the state that it is not required yet. Meanwhile, Patna and Gaya are once again seen becoming corona hotspots.

Of the new cases of coronavirus that have been reported, 10 are in Patna alone while 17 new cases have been confirmed in Gaya. In addition, 4 corona infected patients have been confirmed in Aurangabad, 3 in Munger, 2 in Kishanganj, 1 in Madhubani, 1 each in Purnia and Rohtas. The number of active corona cases in Bihar has gone up to 155.
