Dehradun: The COVID-19 infection rate has also increased as samples were tested in the country's state of Uttarakhand. In the last 10 days, more than one lakh persons were screened in the state. Meaning an average of 10,000 individuals were tested in a day. Based on this, the infection rate was 8.34 percent. However, since March, the state's infection rate is 6.02 percent based on total sample testing and infected patients.

The COVID-19 infection is growing at a speed in the four plains of the state. Dehradun city has the highest infection rate of 16.70 percent in the last 10 days. Over 13805 samples tested 2306 people have been found to be COVID-19 infected. 17 people have been found infected when 100 individuals are screened. Similarly, the infection rate in Nainital city is 13.21 percent, Haridwar 9.34 percent, Udham Singh Nagar 9.23 percent.

At the same time, pauri city has increased the infection at the rate of 8.71 percent. Except pauri city, the transition rate is much lower than the plains in the rest of the hilly cities. Anup Nautiyal, founder of the Social Development for Community Foundation, which is studying COVID-19 data, says the increase in infection rate is alarming with the testing of samples. For the first time in ten days, the state's infection rate has been 8.34 percent. At the same time, corona cases are constantly increasing in the state, so they can make the situation more frightening.
