Corona wreaks havoc in Delhi, many new cases surfaced

New Delhi: Covid infection continues to wreak havoc in the capital of the nation. On Friday, 7802 new cases were reported, while 6498 patients were cured. 91 patients lost their lives in the last 24 hours. Yesterday, 104 patients died. In this way, 195 people have lost their lives in two days. The number of active patients has increased to more than 44 thousand due to an increase of infection of Covid, which is worrying. The infection rate again increased to 13.80% while it was 11.71% on Thursday. According to the Health Ministry report, 4 lakh 74 thousand 830 people have been infected with Covid-19 in Delhi so far. Out of which 4 lakh 23 thousand 078 patients have also been cured. The recovery rate of patients is 89.10%. The number of dead is increasing even more. The death rate is now 1.56%.

Number of 44,329 active patients: There are a total of 44,329 active patients at present. This is the first time the number of active patients has reached this level. 8664 patients are admitted to the hospital. 850 patients are admitted in Covid Care Center and 272 patients in Covid Health Center. 26,741 patients are undergoing treatment in home isolation.

RTPCR investigation of 19,910 samples in 24 hours: So far 53 lakh 78 thousand 827 sample tests are being conducted in Delhi. 56,553 sample tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. Out of which, RTPCR of 19,910 samples and antigen test of 36643 samples were tested. In this way, RTPCR investigations are increasing further.

Containment zone increased 4184: Containment zones are also increasing due to the increasing case of Covid. At present, the number of container zones has reached 4184.
