Corona creates havoc in India, record-breaking cases reported in last 24 hours

New Delhi: Corona cases in the country have again risen to a record high. There have been 90,928 new cases of corona infection in India in the last 24 hours. In addition, 325 people have lost their lives due to corona. Corona cases have jumped 56.5 per cent compared to Wednesday. If we talk about the Omicron variant, the number of cases in the country has increased to 2,630. Maharashtra and Delhi have the highest number of omicron cases at 797 and 465. Out of 2,630 patients with omicron, 995 patients have recovered.

Know the names of the five states which are witnessing the highest jump in the cases of the corona. This includes Maharashtra (26,538 new corona cases), West Bengal (14,022 cases), Delhi (10,665 cases), Tamil Nadu (4,862 cases) and Kerala (4,801 cases). Out of the new 90,928 cases, 66.97 percent have come from only five states. In this only 29.19 percent of cases are from Maharashtra. According to the Ministry of Health, 90,928 new cases of corona infection were reported in India in the last 24 hours, 19,206 recovered and 325 patients died of the corona.
