Lucknow: Dandupur railway station located between Pratapgarh Badshahpur on Lucknow-Varanasi rail section will now be renamed. According to the information received, now the name of the station will be changed to 'Maa Barahi Devi Dham'. The central government's consent has also been received in this regard. Yes, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself has given the green signal for the change of this name.

It is being told that after the approval of the Chief Minister, a notification regarding name change will be issued soon. Information about this has been given by the Chief Minister's Office on Thursday. By the way, there was a demand for changing the name of this railway station located in Raniganj Tehsil headquarters of Pratapgarh for a long time and now the decision has finally come. Recently, people's aspirations have been respected and in order to pledge to give special recognition to local religious and spiritual places, it will now be named 'Maa Barahi Devi Dham'.

Let us also tell you that, many trains including express and passenger stop at Dandupur station. These include Kashi Vishwanath train coming from Delhi to Varanasi, Rae Bareli-Jaunpur Express, Lucknow-Varanasi Intercity and PV train. By the way, there is a temple of Maa Barahi Devi on the high mound in Parasrampur village, about six kilometers from the station and a large number of people come to visit here. Currently, happiness is being seen among people about this news.
