Makers approach Deepika to be the star in Sridevi's blockbuster movie remake

The ever so stunning Diva 'Deepika Padukone' who last glorified the celluloid in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's directorial venture, 'Padmaavat' which also starred Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in prominent roles. The movie did extremely well at the box office and also brought critical acclaims and lots of appreciation for Deepika who essayed the role of a queen in the movie.

Deepika's next was being speculated to be Sapna Didi based on the Mafia queen of Mumbai and to be helmed by Vishal Bharadwaj, co-starring Irrfan Khan. The movie has been put to on a hold since Irrfan is battling with his ill health and shall be resumed only after Irrfan's recovery.

Hence there are reports that Deepika might most probably star in Late Sridevi's movie which released 4 decades ago.

According to sources, the original movie starring Sridevi was produced by a south Indian producer and was directed by a Bollywood Filmmaker. The movie is still on paper and has not been declared yet. Well, Deepika is being considered for the lead role and has also been approached for the same.

Rumours also hint towards Deepika training really hard for a Wonder Woman based action film.

well talking of the current picture, B-town is actually keen on Deepika and Ranveer's wedding which is being speculated to be scheduled on the 10th of November, this year in Italy.
