New Delhi: A shocking case has come to light from Prem Nagar of the Country's capital Delhi. Here a young man under the influence of alcohol brutally killed his grandmother. First, the accused threw the elderly woman on the ground and then beat her badly, due to which the woman died. The woman's body has been taken into custody and sent for post-mortem, a police official said. The matter is being investigated. The name of the deceased woman is Raisa, who is about 90 years old.

According to the report, the complainant, Afroz (62), lives with his family in Inder Enclave Kirari. His family includes his 90-year-old mother Raisa and three sons Shahrukh (30), Imran (28), and Rashid (22). At around 8.30 pm on February 11, Afroz's mother and his son Shahrukh were present in the house. According to the police, Shahrukh had drunk a lot of alcohol and Afroz also reached home after drinking alcohol. Due to this, there was a fight and scuffle between father and son. In this assault, Shahrukh threw Afroz on the ground and started beating him.

When Afroz's mother Raisa came to the rescue, Shahrukh grabbed his grandmother's head and hit her on the wall, causing her to fall to the ground. After that, the accused Shahrukh kicked and punched the father and grandmother fiercely. Afroz fainted in this incident of assault. The next day, when he woke up, he started trying to wake up his mother Raisa. She found that the (90)-year-old mother's body had cooled down and did not wake up. After this, Afroz lodged a police complaint against his son Shahrukh, then the police reached the spot. Police have sent the body for post-mortem and have registered a case and started an investigation.
