Delhi CRPF officer turns out to be Corona positive, headquarter sealed

New Delhi: CRPF's problems have increased after the private secretary of a top Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) officer posted in the national capital was found to be corona infected. The CRPF headquarters have been completely sealed on Sunday morning. On giving information, officials have said that the officer working on the post of Special Director General (SDG) at the headquarters has been found to be Corona positive, and hence the paramilitary force has sealed the building.

He said that the officials working in the building will not be allowed inside the premises from Sunday. The CRPF has informed the District Monitoring Officer to take necessary steps as per the medical guidelines to seal the building located in the CGO complex on Lodhi Road in a phased manner. He said that the process of identifying all the personnel who came in contact with the employee in the headquarters building has been started. The CRPF is the largest paramilitary force in the country. Many battalion soldiers have also been caught in the corona infection. On Saturday, 68 CRPF personnel were found corona infected.

Corona chain is not breaking here, seven new positive patients found again

All the soldiers are from the 31st Battalion located at Mayur Vihar Phase 3. The total number of infected cases in this battalion has risen to 134, out of which one soldier has recovered and one has died. 17 soldiers of BSF have also been found to be corona positive. These jawans belong to the 126th and 176th Battalions.
