New Delhi: The havoc of cold continues in the capital of the country, Delhi. Meanwhile, along with the fog, there is a haze of pollution in the sky. According to the information, due to the pollution in the midst of fog, the visibility is also low due to haze at the Delhi airport. However, it does not seem to have an effect on flights so far, all flights are operating normally.

 

At the same time, people of the capital are feeling chill due to cold, due to which people are also resorting to fire to get relief. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), there is a slight relief from the cold wave in Delhi, but pollution is in bad shape. According to the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR), the Air Quality Index (AQI) in Delhi has been recorded in the very poor category. Delhi recorded an average AQI of 381 in the morning of today (Monday) i.e. 03 January 2022, which comes in the very poor category.

According to IMD, the minimum temperature in Delhi on January 03 is 6 degrees, while the maximum temperature is likely to be 21 degrees Celsius. At the same time, amidst fog and cold, light rain is expected in Delhi on January 5 and 6. According to the weather forecasting agency Skymet, due to western disturbance, partly cloudy sky will be seen in the sky. Due to which the minimum temperature is likely to remain in the range of 6 to 10 degrees. Whereas the maximum temperature can remain from 20 to 22 degree Celsius.
