New Delhi: A case of looting of jewellery worth nearly Rs 2 crore 50 lakh by taking a businessman's wife and other family members hostage in Delhi's Paschim Vihar East area has come to light where police have registered a case of robbery on a complaint of harassment and started an investigation. Police investigation revealed that the miscreants had entered the house with the help of a maid in the house. Police have questioned the owner of the placement and are investigating.

According to reports, Ravindra Singh's family lives in Shubham Enclave in Paschim Vihar. He has a door fitting factory in the Mundka area. A few days ago, they hired a maid named Meena and Hema from a placement agency. Both lived in a room on the ground floor.

They were present at the house on November 2, with Ravindra's wife Harmeet Kaur and her son Kabir. As a result, one of his maids entered the house with an unknown person. The man had a screwdriver in his hand. He threatened to kill Harmeet Kaur and took her to her room and then two other men came there. The trio tore the sheet and tied it to Harmeet and her son. Meanwhile, her niece and sister-in-law also arrived, who were taken hostage by the criminals. The criminals fled with about Two crore rupees and 50 lakh rupees kept in the house. Where Harmeet Kaur opened herself and other persons after the criminals left and reported the incident to her husband and police.
