New Delhi: Muslims protested at several places after Friday Prayers demanding the arrest of Nupur Sharma and Naveen Kumar Jindal over their alleged objectionable remarks on Prophet Mohammed. During this time, Muslim mobs protested from Delhi's Jama Masjid to Kolkata and several cities of UP. At many places, the protests also turned violent, over which the police had to resort to lathi-charge and aerial firing to control it. 

During this, pictures of some mobile status have been found with Delhi Police. Seeing those, it seems that this demonstration was already decided that it was to be performed after the Friday prayers. Delhi Police is probing the matter of whether this message is not a part of a pre-planned conspiracy. Delhi Police will also take action by including the language and pictures of posters and banners used in the demonstration of different cities in the investigation that how are they similar in most places? However, the Shahi Imam of Delhi's Jama Masjid, while talking to the media, said that this strike has not been called by Jama Masjid. Delhi strike was being talked about through social media. We had persuaded through different groups, but today there was a sudden demonstration.
