New Delhi: During the lockdown enforced due to Corona epidemic, Delhi Police has cut a record challan of about 20 crores. These challans have been deducted after government guidelines on cases such as not wearing masks, violating social distancing and spitting in public places.

Police has deposited this amount after deducting three lakh 88 thousand 898 challans. On September 8, the police headquarters apparently made a restriction on cutting the invoices of traffic policemen in every district, making a few changes in the manner in which the police started cutting the challans strictly after the full ban, which came into force from the last week of March. Formed and issued instructions to cut the corona challan from 10 am to 6 pm.

The police officer says that all other types of challans, including traffic violations, which are collected from the citizens, are deposited in the state government account, so Corona's challans will also be deposited there. The police only play the role of arbitration. In the last week of March in the capital Delhi, the coronavirus started gaining momentum. Then a 21-day lockdown was implemented throughout the country to avoid the deadly coronavirus.
