Chhatarpur: Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri of Bageshwar Dham, who came into the limelight recently, said in an interview on the question of being caught on a train without a ticket, that it should also be told to the world that I had returned from TT with Rs 1100.

He said that he is not a god but a common man. Only Bajrang Bali's grace is on him. On the matter of taking money and donations, he said that the tradition of taking Dakshina has been going on since the time of Mahabharata. He comes from a tradition in which even the thumb was donated. He said that whatever the devotees who come to his court give with love, they accept it. At the same time, he said that the welfare of the people is done with those rupees.

Regarding Sai Baba, he said that I have no relation or enmity with Sai Baba or any saint. I have a problem with those people who openly talk about killing and massacring saints and Sanatanis and use abusive language against them. He told that even today 400 to 500 Muslim families are with him. He even said that many of his friends are Muslims and even today he talks to them. He said, 'Darbar is being held for three generations. It started from the time of Dada Guruji. We have also been doing this for 11 years. Narrating an interesting anecdote about his school, he said that the children of the school used to come and ask him how many marks he would get in the examination. I used to tell him that this time he got 55 percent, next time work hard and he will get 60 percent.''
