Jalandhar: On July 10, 2020, late-night, thunderstorm and rain killed the father and son. This incident is of Pir Bodla area of Jalandhar when the father-son was going back to their home in Ali Mohalla from the market riding on a motorcycle. Gulshan and his son Man (13), who work for making photo frames, were residents of Ali Mohalla area.
According to the information received, both of them left for home on bike after finishing work late last Friday. There was a storm and heavy rain on the way. Meanwhile, an electric wire broke and they fell into the road pit, after which the current spread everywhere. When Gulshan and his son passed by, the motorcycle received a tremendous shock.
Both father and son fell into that water and they got electrocuted. The people evacuated both of them with great difficulty and took them to the hospital, where the doctor declared them dead. Due to which a wave of fear and mourning spread among the people. On receiving the information about the accident, MLA Rajendra Berry and many other people reached Ali Mohalla and expressed condolences to the family.
