Nowadays rising cases of crime are all shocked. According to reports a case has come to light, a father in Nepal strangled his own minor daughter to get insurance money of Rs 25 lakh. Police Spokesperson Nabin Karki said that Ram, a 39-year-old Kishore Yadav, a resident of Maulapur area of the municipality of Siraha district, strangled his four-year-old daughter to death on Monday in a bid to lure her. Police recovered the body of the girl from a pond the next morning.
According to the information received, the matter is under investigation. According to sources, the accused Ram Kishore was insured for the better future of his youngest daughter by Rs 25 lakh from Prabhu Bank and had also deposited a premium of Rs 1,75,000.
On the other hand, as per the information received in the case, he was found somewhere that if an insurance holder dies within a month of taking the policy, the insurance company pays double the sum assured. In the interrogation, the accused said that he had committed the crime by being blind to the greed of the money. According to sources, he has been jailed several times before for other crimes.
