The woman has been killed by her own family when she is married outside her caste. According to reports, Nisha was shot dead at around 1 p.m. on Friday in Dasampur village in Jewar area. Police have registered a murder case against seven family members, including his father, in the case.
Nisha married Sunil Kumar (30) against her family in June 2018, and her family did not know about their marriage until five months ago. Following the incident, the woman's husband has lodged an FIR against the father and brother, including her family members, at the Jewar police station. Police have registered a case under Section 302 (Murder) of the Indian Penal Code.
SHO Jewar S S Bhati told news agency PTI that no arrest has been made so far in the case and investigation is on. Police are searching for his two brothers, uncle and aunt who have fled. Kumar alleged that about three months ago, she told me that her relatives had fired at her, but she survived. The father of the deceased is in BSF.
