Patna: On Monday afternoon, a fire broke out in a coaching center in a hut in the Chitragupta Nagar police station area of Khagaria district of Bihar. Not only that, two students lost their lives when the fire engulfed the flames. A police official said some students were studying in a hut in North Hajipur Ward No. 16. The fire took off in the hut at about 1 o'clock on Monday. Uttam Kumar (25) and Laxmi Kumari (18), who was studying in the incident, were scorched. Jyoti Kumari, police station in-charge of Chitraguptanagar, said the fire was immediately controlled with the help of local people. She said the cause of the fire has not been ascertained so far, the police are investigating the entire matter. The police have seized both the bodies and sent them for post mortem.
Five people killed in Kishanganj: Five people of the same family were burnt to death when a house caught fire in the Salam Colony area of Kishanganj district. A woman has been seriously injured in the incident. A fire broke out on Monday morning at the house of Noor Ahmed, a resident of the Salam colony in the Kishanganj police station area, a police official said on Monday. Nearby people says that before the fire broke out, there was a sound of the LPG cylinder bursting. After which smoke started rising from the house.
The fire brigade arrived after the information of the people around it, after a lot of effort, the fire has been controlled, but by then five people lost their lives. Kishanganj Police Station in-charge Ashwani Kumar said the deceased include Noor Ahmed, his two daughters Tohfa(8) and Babli (6), and two sons Rahmat (4) and Shahid (2). Police has started investigating the case by taking the dead body.
