Pune: The first consignment of corona vaccine from Serum Institute from Pune was flagged off today. At 4 o'clock this morning, first, the three trucks were duly worshipped and then sent to the airport. The vaccine will be delivered to various cities of the country through a special aircraft from Pune airport, where vaccination campaign will start from January 16. However, it is going to be the world's largest vaccination program, which was announced by PM Modi last Saturday.

The corona vaccine of two drug manufacturing companies in the country has been approved, one of which is the Serum Institute, which has made the corona vaccine called Covishield. The police had strong security while sending three trucks to the airport today. Talking about this, DCP Meeker Patil of Pune said, "The first consignment of the vaccine has been sent from the Serum Institute of India. We have made elaborate security arrangements. '

MD Sandeep Bhosle of SB Logistics (a company handling air transport of vaccine from Pune Airport) said, "A total of 8 flights will take the Covid-19 vaccine from Pune International Airport to 13 different places today. The first flight will depart for Delhi airport. A video of the moment is going viral which has been shared by ANI. This video is powerful. However, the distribution of vaccines has been finalised at 41 locations across the country.
