From this month, Force Motors has increased the price of its 4X4 off-road SUV Gurkha. The starting price of the Force Gurkha SUV has been raised to 14.10 lakh, according to the company's official website (ex-showroom). It's a Rs 51,000- hike over the SUV's initial price from last year.

The off-road SUV was introduced by Force Motors on September 27 at a starting price of Rs. 13.59 lakh (ex-showroom). The Gurkha has been improved with design tweaks and technologies to compete with the Mahindra Thar SUV in its new generation.

With the addition of various creature amenities and modern technology, the second generation Force Gurkha SUV now looks to be more of an adventure lifestyle vehicle. With a revised front grille, the SUV now has a more powerful look. The new fog lights are flanked by circular bi-LED headlamps and LED DRLs. It boasts 16-inch alloy wheels on the sides, which are set within substantial wheel arches with black claddings. It also comes with a functioning snorkel, which aids the Gurkha's 700 mm water-wading capacity. Gurkha receives a new set of taillights and a ladder to reach the roof-mounted luggage carrier in the back.

The upgraded BS 6 compliant 2.6-litre diesel engine is coupled to a 5-speed manual gearbox in the 2021 Force Gurkha SUV. Force Motor, on the other hand, has no plans to provide the SUV with an automatic transmission.

The 2021 Force Gurkha is powered by a 2.6-liter diesel engine that also powered the previous generation vehicle. It has a maximum power of 89 bhp and a peak torque of 250 Nm. AWD will be available on the Gurkha in 2021. With double wishbones and coil springs, Force has adjusted the suspension configuration. It can also creep up 35-degree grades.
