After inhaling deadly gas, four members of a family were found dead. The event occurred at Kodungallur's Uzhavathukadavu. After flooding their home with deadly gas, a couple and their two children died. Ashif (40), a software engineer, his wife Azeera (34) and their children Azara Fathima (13) and Anonisa, eight, have been identified. The presence of carbon monoxide within the residence was detected.

Tape was used to secure the house's windows. The house was investigated and a note was found, stating that the conduct was motivated by financial liability. The four were found dead after a search was initiated since no one had been seen outside after noon.

Ubaid, a former PWD official from Uzhavathukadavu, is Ashif's father. The four bodies were discovered on the second floor of the two-story building. When Ashif's sister arrived with the neighbours and broke down the door, she discovered the four corpses. Ashif, who worked for an American IT firm, may have felt obligated to take such dramatic steps due to financial risk. Both of the youngsters were Mala Holy Grace pupils. The location has been reached by a team led by Kodungallur DySP Salish N Sankaran.
