Covid-19's indigenous test kit is ready amidst worldwide epidemic. This will not only make the test accurate and easy, but it will also be very cheap. The investigation will take only 450 to 500 rupees. Results from the CSIR kit will come in 5 to 7 minutes. It has been successfully tested on more than 50 patients. ICMR approval is awaited before landing in the market. It is expected that upon approval, commercial production and use will start soon. This kit has been prepared by two scientists in CSIR's laboratory.
