Raipur: The government has started helpline number 15100 run by Nalsa to provide free legal advice to the people on Saturday. This facility, which started for the first time in the country, has been inaugurated by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel in the District Court premises. Amidst this program, Chief Minister Baghel has told that the facility of helpline will benefit the poor and needy people of the state, who do not have any means available to fight the legal battle.

He has also informed that this helpline will prove to be very beneficial in providing quick, easy and affordable access to justice. In which, this helpline number will be publicized through advertisements of the state government to inform the people about the service. At the same time, the Chief Minister has also assured to take appropriate initiative at the state government level for recruitment on vacancies in judicial administration.

On this initiative, the Chief Justice of the High Court, PR Ramachandra Menon has said that for immediate redressal of judicial matters, officers and advocates in the judicial service should prioritize. Along with this, people should help in getting justice. Acting President of Chhattisgarh State Legal Services Authority Bilaspur and Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra of High Court Bilaspur, Justice Gautam Bhaduri also addressed the program. At the same time, Ramkumar Tiwari, District Judge and President of District Legal Services Authority Raipur, also gave a welcome speech.
