Ahmedabad: An incident has come to light from Junagadh in Gujarat that has put human relationships to shame. Here a husband killed his own wife and threw the body into a water tank. A husband killed his wife with a sharp weapon near Toranya village under Junagadh. Fed up with the dispute that took place late at night on June 8, the husband killed his wife and threw the body in a water tank, changed his clothes and locked the house and left.  

Police said that Ramde lived with his wife Lily and two twins in Khadia village near Junagadh. The husband and wife had many disputes and the wife would go to her maternal home. But this time, late at night on June 8, the fight between the husband and the wife reached the point of taking each other's life and the husband brutally killed the wife. Not only this but after the killing, the body was thrown in the water tank, so that no one would know. Then he locked the house and left.  

The next morning, Ramde's nephew Jairam Dhola reached home to tie his buffaloes and saw that there was a lock. Jayaram suspected that something had gone wrong. He immediately informed the sarpanch of the village and the police. When the police came and broke open the lock of the house and searched, it was found that Lily Ben's body was in the water tank. Police sent the body for post-mortem and started searching for Ramde.  

Police found out in the investigation that Ramde had fled after committing the murder. A police officer said, two to three sharp weapons were recovered on the investigation at the spot. Police are looking for Ramde. At present, a case has been registered on the complaint of Lily's brother Rambhai Solanki and the police are investigating.
