Bhopal: Monsoon has knocked in Madhya Pradesh. Drizzle has started in many districts of the state for the last few days. On Tuesday, there has been good rain in most cities of the state including Bhopal. Half an inch of water rains in Bhopal from 8:30 am to 11:30 am. The day's temperature dropped 5.3 degrees from Monday and reach 29.4 degrees. It has been the second coldest day of the season. Earlier on June 4, the temperature reached 22.6 degrees. Meteorologist and Duty Officer PK Saha told that on Wednesday also, there are chances of heavy rains in many areas of the state including Bhopal, Gwalior. It was 17 degrees below normal.

However, due to rain, the temperature could have increased by only 2.2 degrees in six hours from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm. After the rain on Tuesday morning, it remained cloudy all day. After 10 pm, the drizzle started at many places including the areas of Ayodhya Bypass, BHEL, Avadhpuri, Hoshangabad Road.

There have been 14.22 inches of rain in the capital. The rainfall so far in the entire state is 111 percent more than normal. This is because of rain, the northern boundary of monsoon is passing through Ahmedabad, Shajapur and Fatehpur, Mukteshwar and Rudraprayag. The trough line is going from the northern part of MP including North Rajasthan Gwalior to the northwestern part of the Bay of Bengal. A cyclonic circulation is seen near Odisha, South Gujarat.
