New Delhi: The three-match ODI series between India and the Australian women's cricket team is underway. The team led by Mithali Raj is trailing 0-1 in the series after losing the first match. The second ODI between the two teams will now be played on Friday (September 24). But team India has suffered a big setback ahead of this match. The team's star batsman Harmanpreet Kaur is yet to be fully fit and will miss the match.

Team India batting coach Shiv Sundar Das confirmed this on Thursday. Talking to the media, he said, "I think she is not healthy yet and she will not be available for the next match. It may be recalled that Harmanpreet was not a part of the team even in the earlier ODI match. India suffered a crushing defeat in the match. The team scored 225 runs thanks to 61 runs from skipper Mithali Raj. However, the Australian team lost one wicket to get the target 54 balls in advance.''

Das said on the strategy for the next encounter, ''We expect a good start from our opening pair. Coming to the middle order, we have worked very hard for it and we will implement it in tomorrow's match. We will try to achieve a score of 250.''
