Meghan Trainor, who is best known for the song "All About That Bass," has spoken up about her mental health issues, revealing that she had her first panic attack live on television. According to media, the singer was on 'CBS This Morning' with Gayle King before revealing the 2017 Grammy nominees when she started "vibrating" and felt like she was "dying."
"I was vibrating when introducing the nominees," Trainor remarked. On live television, I felt like I was about to pass out. 'What's going on?' I wondered. 'I'm sure I'm going to die.' I rushed offstage and was [gasping for breath] in front of everyone as soon as they shouted 'Cut.'"
Meghan, who gave birth to her first child, Riley, in February, hailed TV host Gayle for assisting her through the tense moment. "After that, Gayle was my email pal and constantly checked up on me," she added. I was humiliated and apologized profusely, but she made things so much better for me. "On this planet, she is an angel."
Later on, Trainor was diagnosed with panic disorder. "Some nights I recall eating a lot of food, then getting terrified and saying, 'I need to go to the emergency hospital because I'm allergic to what I just ate,'" she told the reporters.Â
"The doctor walked in with a sorrowful expression on his face and asked, 'Have you ever heard of a panic attack?'" 'No, no, no, I'm having an allergic response,' I said. It's shutting if you simply look at the back of my throat.' That was my first lesson in the effects of a panic attack." During the early stages of the epidemic, the 'Dear Future Husband' singer claimed she was using music to "assist with (her) mental health," according to a statement she made last year.
