Police said the man, aged around 40, is said to have been murdered by unidentified assailants by slitting his throat.
The local people found a blood-soaked body lying on the roadside near Kalpana Theater and informed the police officials. Police reached the spot and started investigation. The body was sent for post-mortem. Police said the man may have been a resident of the pavement, who may have been killed by assailants known to him. The police have registered a case.
