Agra: Even after recovering from COVID-19 infection in Agra city of Uttar Pradesh, an elderly patient died in a private hospital. Family members have blamed the hospital management. The family of the deceased says that after recovering from the infection, the hospital kept the patient report under pressure for three days. On Friday night, due to non-receipt of oxygen due to the omission of the hospital staff, the elderly patient lost his life.
The case station belongs to a hospital in Hariparwat area. Here on 16 August, Sunil Sharma, a resident of Madhu Nagar of Sadar area, had administered his father Rambhaj Sharma for treatment of corona. The doctor's report Punit Parashar, grandson of Rambhaj, alleged that the patient's report tested negative, but the hospital kept pressing for three days to raise the bill. On getting information about this, the family members told the doctor of the hospital, then they said to shift the patient to another place.
Simultaneously, they were told that the patient still needs oxygen. Subsequently, the patient was brought down with the oxygen cylinder, then the life of his cylinder ended. The ambulance, which was ordered by the hospital for the patient, did not have a life cylinder. It is alleged that in front of family members of the hospital, one by one put 10 life cylinders, but all came out empty. The patient died due to lack of life. It is now being investigated by the police.
