People of India are insisting on a nationwide boycott of 'Made in China' items in view of Galwan Valley Clash on 15 June. On this, dealers in Hyderabad say that Chinese products should definitely be boycotted but slowly.

Rajeev, CEO of Regal Sports and Fitness Company, told the media that, 'It is right that the government is putting pressure, that Indian importers should produce and sell in India. But there are some products which are not manufactured in India. He further said that we have no objection to manufacturing in India but you have to give us time for this. If the demand decreases, then why would I go into manufacturing if there is no demand. Also, what if the supply of raw materials stops? Employees' jobs will be in danger due to owner pressure.

Another dealer, Deep of Sajdev Sports, said that the center should come up with guidelines for each area. He said, 'We cannot stop it suddenly. We should work towards boycotting products gradually. If you suddenly ask for boycott of Chinese products, then it is not possible. He said, 'A certain set of guidelines should be issued by the Center and then gradually we should reduce imports from China. By doing this, we can stop it within a year.
