Hyderabad: There is a tussle between AIMIM and BJP in the Hyderabad Municipal Corporation election. Recently AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi has raised the issue of Muslim representation in state governments. Recently, Owaisi has asked, "Why no Muslim ministers are there in the four BJP-ruled states?"

He has recently said, "There are 10 states where 80% of Muslims live. Of these 4 (all BJP-ruled) do not have a single Muslim minister. Before 2014, there was almost half the number of Muslim ministers in these 10 states. Only 3.93% of India's 14% population is in the state governments." He has taken the BJP on his target earlier. Recently he had said, 'If Pakistanis live in this old city, then Narendra Modi and Amit Shah lie. It is their (PM Modi's and Mr Shah's) failure that they were sleeping and Pakistanis have entered here, I have never seen them here. They want to build a wall of hatred between Hindus and Muslims. If you know, till tomorrow reveal the names of 100 Pakistanis living in this old city.'

The election of Hyderabad Municipal Corporation is going to be very special this time because the national level leaders of BJP are reaching for campaigning in the election. Asaduddin Owaisi had targeted Amit Shah in the past too. He had said, 'BJP should bring Prime Minister Narendra Modi here.'
