Lucknow: Playing Hanuman Chalisa in his godown after worship in the Banda district of Uttar Pradesh became a burden for a young man. Hearing the sound of Hanuman Chalisa, about 20 Muslim youths reached his godown. The miscreants hurled abuses and ransacked opposing the playing of Hanuman Chalisa. According to media reports, Siddhant Tiwari, a resident of Kanwara, has a warehouse in Hathikhana, in the Aliganj area. According to the victim, Hanuman Chalisa was playing in the sound system after worshipping at the godown at around 7 p.m. on Friday evening. It is alleged that 15–20 unknown Muslim youths, including Taufiq, Shanu, and Rafiq, reached the godown. Protesting against the playing of Hanuman Chalisa, they broke the sound system and, while abusing him, threatened to cut him with a sharp weapon.

According to the complaint, the accused had threatened that if Hanuman Chalisa is recited here again, they will throw you into pieces and you will not even know.
