Lucknow: With regard to zero tolerance in Yogi Sarkar 2.0, the police has intensified the action against miscreants to improve law and order. In this sequence, the news of police encounter has come to the fore in Kanpur. In which the history sheeter Sanjay alias Dhaba has become the first victim of the encounter. Reports say that there are more than a dozen serious cases registered against the dhaba. Late night there was a police encounter in his Nababganj area. In which he got shot in the leg.
Police have also seized a pistol and cartridges from the Dhaba. DCP West BBGTS Murthy has confirmed this encounter. The special thing is that during the first term of the Yogi government, a similar police encounter campaign was going on in Kanpur. There were frequent encounters of miscreants. In which about 100 criminals were fired upon. Now as soon as the second campaign starts, it is working to increase the fear among the criminals of Kanpur.
DSP West BBGTS Murthy has said about this that late night SWOT team and police station Nawabganj were checking vehicles from Ganga Barrage to Bithoor Road. Then two persons on a motorcycle were seen coming. When the police team doing the checking stopped them, they started running away on a motorcycle. On the basis of suspicion started chasing them. Seeing being chased by the police, the miscreants started firing. In retaliation, the bullet of the police went into the leg of a motorcyclist riding miscreant and he fell there. Meanwhile, his other accomplice fled in the dark. The arrested miscreant was identified as Sanjay alias Dhaba.
